Today we began filming for our documentary. We first went to the antique shop where we interviewed Derek Hall an antique dealer. We asked him about the customers that come in his shop and the varying levels of obsession and money spent. We also filmed cutaways of the antiques in the shop.
We then went to the staff room at Rode Island Cafe and interviewed Jess Hayden a girl who is obsessed with Xena the princess warrior. We asked her about her obsession, how it affects her life, how much money she spends on it and how it affects the lives of others.

Today in lesson we finished some work for the blog and started logging the footage of the interviews with Derek and Jess.

Today we continued logging the footage and we also started storyboarding our title sequence.

Today in lesson we did the location sheets for our filming locations and added the scanned title storyboard and single frame story board to the blog. We also added our first two logging sheets to the blog. We discussed when we can next film.

Today we went into town and filmed our vox pops. We asked 10 people near the market what their obsession was trying to vary the gender and age. We then asked another 10 people the same question on Bridge street. We then went to Millenium Comics and interviewed the owner Daniel Nash about the customers he gets and their varying range of obsessions.

Today we captured our footage to premier and organised an interview with a Psychology teacher at college Jemma Williams. We also decided what we are going to do on each day this week. Tomorrow we are interviewing James, Jess, Dan and Janet. If we have time we will try to film the title sequence and cutaways as well.

Today we went to Dan Orr's house to interview him about his obsession with Oasis. We found out that we couldn't interview Janet and didn't have time to interview Jess and James however we got some good footage of Dan.

Today we captured the footage of Dan and interviewed two of Dan's friends in front of the blue screen which we can use instead of interviewing Janet.We then captured the footage of Dan's friends. Katie will take the camera home today to film her friend about her obsession with Football.

Today we interview Jemma Williams the psychology teacher. We also captured the footage of Danielle.

Today we captured the footage of Jemma Williams and began our opening title sequence using jump cuts so items appear on the table.

Today we captured the footage of Angela Danielle's mum and the footage of the title sequence. We also began editing dragging rough sections of the vox pops to the timeline

Today we continued to put more footage onto the timeline rougly including the interview with Danielle.

Today we dragged most of our rough footage to the timeline and began looking for music for our documentary.

Today we started to use keying on Premier to put a picture of Oasis in place of the blue screen behind Dan's friend Seb.

Today we started to cut the timeline more precisely and added music to the beginning over the vox pops.

Today we put in images of some of the things mentioned in the vox pops. The plan is to get them to flash on screen really fast as they say them.

Today we began putting archive footage and stills into our documentary as either cutaways or footage for the voiceover to go over.

Today we realised that our title sequence wasn't good enough so we had to refilm it.

Today we captured the title sequence and put it onto the timeline.

Today we put the rest of the music onto the documentary leaving spaces just for the voiceover now.

Today we took a picture for our print advert and decided what to cut from the documentary to make it short enough. We cut some of the interview with Jemma at the end.
