A2 Prelim

Feedback was pretty good for our prelim and i believe it was a lot better than last years prelim because we knew what to do and how best to do it so despite the short filming time. I think one of the best things about our prelim was the music because it fit perfectly to the documentary and the times it came in and faded out sounded great. There were also no jump cuts because we had enough cutaways to cover them. The background was good for mise-en-scene however it clashed with the graphics. It was difficult to get a backround that fit because any colours except for really dark ones showed through holes in his hair so we put some mobile phone company logos on a black backround. The titles were ok but could have been done more creatively however we will have more time in the full documentary so i think this can be done easily. I believe the biggest weakness of our pieve is that some of the answers were a bit short and sometimes tehre wasn't a big enough gap between teh question and the answer so it was difficult to cut. The opening montage shots also sounded like some of what they were saying was cut off. Overall however I am very pleased with how our prelim has turned out.
